Overheating

Laptops pack a lot of technology into an increasingly sleek and compact space. However, there’s a downside: it makes them more prone to overheating. Dust will build up over time which blocks the airflow needed to cool things down. Overheating can also occur when you use your laptop on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa. And despite their name, they overheat on your lap, too.

Watch out for signs like a constantly running fan or if it makes a loud whirring noise. Other indicators of an overheating computer include random error messages, lines on your screen and your system freezing. To avoid serious hardware damage and even potential fire risk, get Hex to check over your device as soon as possible.

Hex Computer Solutions will provide a full internal cleaning service on your computer to get it back to peak performance and prolong its working life.
