Tired of seeing black or white, repetitive PC cases?
The usual TikTok or instagram copy & paste PC era is truly upon us with gamers usually opting for a very predictable look. It's not a bad thing, we've built around five PC's with the Lian Li o11 Vision case this month so far which isn't a bad thing, they're beautiful cases indeed. However, why not switch it up entirely with the Hyte X50 case? This case is extremely unique, featuring a mesh body with a curved, one-piece glass panel covering the side and top. It is available in eight different colours and Hyte even makes fans in all of those colours to match the build.

What's it like to build in?
Well, it's actually surprisingly simple, plenty space for cable management, very cleverly designed grommet holes for cabling and generally convenient. The case does not feature BTF motherboards but that isn't really the end of the world, only a handful of people really opt for those motherboards anyway. The PSU sits above the entire build, inside a stylish shroud which actually doesn't look like it's in the way, normally shrouds bother me, but in this case (pun intended), it does not - it sort of, blends in with the entire look.
What's my favourite part?
It really is the uniqueness and the one piece curved glass... and the vast variety of different colours. I could actually go on and on about my favourite bits. Since we've had one of these in pink and built a system in it, we've placed it on display in the store window and everyone walking past either stops to stare at it or at least glances at it. It really is an attention grabbing show piece.
It is however, on the larger side. This case would require you to have a rather large amount of space ready for it. Recently, Hyte was seen at a tech show, teasing us with a little brother Micro-ATX version of the X50, and I thought that was a fantastic idea. It is still in a prototype stage, but it absolutely must hit the market.
Overall, I love it, Hyte did another great job and hit the gap in the market right in the bullseye.
