The keyboard on a MacBook differs from other devices in that it is ultra-thin and fragile as a butterfly – hence its name of butterfly keyboard. Like any keyboard, it is prone to dust stopping the keys working properly, sticking, or repeating even with the gentlest touch.
Most of the MacBook keyboard repairs we carry out at Hex are due to liquid damage from spillages. Whatever the issue with your MacBook keyboard, we can get to the root of the problem and repair it as fast as possible (liquid damage repairs take a bit longer as we like to keep an eye on your MacBook for a few days in case other issues arise). If a new keyboard is required, we keep replacements in stock at our Edinburgh, Tollcross repair centre.
